WALKER TOOLS

The Walker family has been involved in the manufacturing, sourcing and supplying of hand tools and power tool accessories for over 100 years.

Richard Henry Walker learned his trade in the early 1900s with the former firms of Colver Brothers Ltd and the Neepsend Steel & Tool Corporation. In 1923 he decided to set up his own Company, R H Walker & Son Limited, specialising in the manufacture of saws.

Since then the business has continued to grow and prosper in the heart of Sheffield, the home of British steel, and despite operating under a few different names it has always remained in the Walker family. Circular Saw Blades continue to be the core of the business and the Company now boasts one of the largest ranges of saw blades in the UK.

The Walker family are always on the lookout for new products to add to their range, which now includes a wide variety of handsaws, hand tools, garden tools and replacement blades for knives, hacksaws and coping saws.

The Company philosophy is to provide products which are competitively priced whilst maintaining a quality high enough to be used by professional tradesmen. They achieve this by holding very large stock levels in their Sheffield warehouse, allowing them to keep their prices low without compromising on their quality.

All the tools which have the Walker brand on them have been extensively tested by professional tradesmen to ensure they meet the high standards which have been held by the Walker family since 1923.
